Blood Money Elements: 18th century bone stabilized with custom suspension liquid. Fused with Strontium Aluminate, lined with a custom shredded money – red and clear resin polymer.
This luxury piece is an another original. Real human bone for this was taken from two different sections of an 18th century specimen. The Lunate and Scaphoid were fused together, dyed with a dark red tone, and lined with a Blood Money resin polymer hybrid. The collagen from the scaphoid joint was prepared, hand stabilized and infused with dark red strontium aluminate that turns a bright red when charged. The liner used on this human bone ring presents a hint of real shredded American currency. This was blended perfectly with red dye and swirled with clear acrylic to mimic the appearance of blood. Lining this bone ring with a resin hybrid was the best option to achieve supreme sustainability, durability and strength. As far as the bone goes, it is made mostly of collagen with solid human ivory. The collagen provides a soft framework that you can see within the texture of this ring. Human Ivory plays a role in contrasting the textures of this ring. This combination of collagen and ivory makes this particular ring stand out while being contrasted with a blood money liner.
